Unifacisa is a private educational institution with 17 years of existence and has become a national benchmark in excellence in higher education. It is made up of three Institutions, Faculty of Medical Sciences (FCM), Faculty of Applied Social Sciences (Facisa) and Civil Aviation High School (ESAC). Unifacisa is among the top 5% of the most prestigious Brazilian HEIs, according to The MEC. This result is the result of an administration focused on educational quality. In this context, Unifacisa is part of a conglomerate of companies focused on education, culture, health and social development. The group includes a television station, a theater, three school clinics, an aviation training center and the award-winning Pedro Américo Foundation, which is the driving force behind various social investments made jointly with the University Center. Offering undergraduate courses to inter institutional doctoral courses, Unifacisa has established itself as one of the most highly rated institutions of higher education in the Northeast region.
