UNC Student Television

Overview

Since its founding in 1983, Student Television has provided thousands of UNC students, regardless of major or background, the opportunity to get hands-on experience producing television programming for and about UNC students, student organizations, and the University. STV provides students with valuable experience that helps them land great jobs in film, television, radio, multimedia and countless other fields. Each semester, every student-produced show makes three episodes and a trailer, published on our YouTube channel and showcased at our end-of-semester showcase. In addition, STV hosts workshops, in a variety of technical and creative disciplines, to build the proficiency of all who are interested. With STV, students are given the tools, resources, and guidance to help them create and work on projects they are truly passionate about. We are open to all UNC students, so if you're interested check us out on social media to see our work, ask us a question, or stop by one of our many meetings! Hope to see you soon! Alumni: We love and appreciate you! Thank you for everything you've done to bring STV to where it is today! Please connect with us and rep one of the largest and oldest Student TV stations in the nation!
