Umanotera, The Slovenian Foundation for Sustainable Development has been the leading NGO in the field of sustainable development in Slovenia since it’s beginning more than 25 years ago. During this time, it has systematically, cohesively and continuously promoted the themes of sustainable development and has independently and in cooperation worked on more than 130 projects. Since 2010 Umanotera has also the status of a non-governmental organization (NGO) acting in the public interest in the field of environmental protection (granted by the Ministry of the Environment and Spatial Planning) and in 2017, it has been registered in the records of research organizations.
