We are a non-profit radio innovation platform, owned and supported by commercial and public service broadcasters (including the BBC). Founded in 2011, Radioplayer's mission is to grow radio in connected devices by enabling frictionless listening on the web, on smartphones, smart speakers - and increasingly in connected car dashboards. To do this, we forge partnerships with technology providers and the automotive sector, including giants like BMW and VW (the largest car company in the world). Our international division, Radioplayer Worldwide, offers these products and services to groups of radio broadcasters around the world. We now have offices in 15 countries, with more country partners joining us all the time.
