The Upper Colorado River Watershed Group is an environmental nonprofit focused on preserving ecosystem health and functioning in the headwaters of the Upper Colorado River. Our vision: A resilient, sustainable Upper Colorado River watershed. Our mission: Connecting communities in Grand County's Colorado River headwaters through science, education, and outreach. UCRWG is a nonpolitical,non-regulatory group organized to: 1. Develop and facilitate the implementation of a community-based watershed resiliency plan. 2. Cultivate existing community and environmental resources. 3. Promote educational opportunities. 4. Remain inclusive, transparent, and visible.
