Overview

Through both research and teaching, we explore, experiment with, and improve how science and engineering expertise engage with public policy. Our approach ranges from urban up to global scale, and across disciplines and industrial sectors. The Department offers a range of graduate degrees. Our flagship degree is our Master's of Public Administration (MPA), which provides the option of focusing on one of five key policy areas: - Science, Engineering and Public Policy (MPA) - Urban Innovation and Policy (MPA) - Development, Technology and Innovation Policy (MPA) - Energy, Technology and Climate Policy (MPA) - Digital Technologies and Policy (MPA) At the doctoral level we offer two different tracks, academic study leading to a PhD and policy-oriented practice/study leading to a Doctor of Public Administration – DPA.
