TRIALOG e. V. – Association for Scientific Research into Planning and Building in the Developing World TRIALOG e. V. is a registered non-profit organisation that publishes TRIALOG - Journal for Planning and Building in a Global Context. The association’s primary objective is the improved understanding of planning-related issues and societal developments arising on all continents, particularly in regard to socio-spatial theories and planning methods. The association is an independent network of academic, consultancy, and practical professionals and consists primarily of architects, urban and regional planners, sociologists, geographers, anthropologists, and economists. TRIALOG e.V. organises regional and international conferences on an annual basis, independently or in cooperation with other scientific or scholarly organisations. Evaluations of these and other related events are published in the journal alongside research findings, case studies, and practical reports of relevance. The association organises an annual conference on current issues that is usually held in conjunction with the annual general meeting.
