Traffic Accident Scenario Community (TASC). VUFO provides access to simulation datasets ("TASC dataset") on a data platform. The TASC dataset is based on real accident data that is converted into simulation files by treating it with specially developed procedures and applying scientific methods. The simulation dataset was created in cooperation with the Fraunhofer IVI (Dresden). It also contains up to 900 variations for each accident, based on a variation approach. The data can be used for statistical analyses or for vehicle and scenario simulations, for example. TASC dataset On the one hand, the TASC dataset contains several thousand BASIC SIMULATION FILES. These represent real accident data from Saxony, which are based on data from police accident surveys. In addition, further VARIATION-SIMULATION-FILES are generated from these BASIC-DATA-SETS by scientifically based methods and variation approaches based on GIDAS-data.
