Overview

Tikkun Olam Makers: Atlanta is an assistive technology organization housed at Georgia Tech and Emory that matches students with people living with neglected disabilities (a.k.a no government or market solutions). These student teams create assistive tech solutions free of charge to help with their needs! All of our solutions are open-source to reach others with the same needs around the globe. We handle the process start to finish by sourcing need-knowers with neglected needs, working to design and engineer solutions for their needs, and ensure a smooth distribution process for our products and solutions. "Tikkun Olam" means "Repairing the World" in Hebrew. We are committed to this ideal, and growing the impact of our community. 1 in 6 people in the world live with a disability. We are committed to using our talents to give back and help create change for a better future for all!
