Together Projects is a specialty strategic advising and project management consultancy. We work hand-in-hand with project leaders to navigate the complex process of making cities more connected, joyful, and caring. Our rigorous, interdisciplinary approach provides long-term value for clients and equitable outcomes for communities. Together Projects was established as a professional practice centered on the lessons of collaboration, curiosity and care founding principal Ellen Cavanagh learned during her decade as a key member of the leadership team behind the transformation of Governors Island in NYC. The practice has since expanded and now includes Ryan Russo who is a widely recognized innovator who spent the previous twenty years delivering projects and implementing programs that have changed the way local government transportation is performed. Together Projects now works with clients from both the public and private sectors, including government agencies, public-private partnerships, property developers, non-profits and cooperatives, technology firms, philanthropists, architects, engineers, urban planners, investors and entrepreneurs.
