Overview

The Wave – The Coastal & Offshore Rowing Magazine (The WAVE Rowing) is a not-for-profit free rowing e-magazine that is purely to help promote, highlight, publicise and help in any way it can to raise awareness to the coastal, offshore, and ocean rowing activities, its clubs, community and charities in supporting them in an inclusive manner. This is a not-for-profit magazine; all money goes towards the running cost of the website and e-magazine production including materials to help in the production of providing content and promotion of The Wave Rowing; monies raised beyond the running costs will then go back to the sport through sponsorship and/or grants. We all have one thing in common... we love being on the water. I want this magazine to help open new doors for people and help explore new opportunities, help support the clubs and their members no matter their age or ability. Coastal and Offshore rowing clubs are at the heart of some coastal communities and all have incredible stories that I would love to share with you to help inspire and recognise the achievements of the dedicated volunteers within. These clubs and leagues - some of which are struggling for survival, need a platform and I hope to be able to raise awareness and help make them attractive to sponsors through exposure. I would love to share your news, your stories, your results and achievements, pictures, and more. Together we can grow our passion for the sport and hopefully make a splash that our future generations can enjoy and look back at those that came before in taking the time to make a difference no matter how small the contribution to the coastal community. I hope to be able to educate and inspire through the content provided and the experiences of others. We have one thing in common, the love and thrill of being on the water.
