Overview

We are a social mobility charity, funded and administered by The Early Careers Company. We work to reduce the impacts of socioeconomic inequality amongst young people in the UK, and create a more level playing field in the Early Careers job market. There are huge disparities between the success of those who are born into fortunate surroundings and those who are born into less fortunate ones, and they start early. We run several initiatives to combat these issues and support less advantaged 16-18 year olds to gain the tools and exposure they need to access fantastic careers. We run a programme that gives our young people access to mentoring from business leaders, and commercial training that teaches them about the business world. We also fund cultural experiences for our young people and their families and we finance The Early Careers Fund - a means-tested grant fund that helps with the costs of higher education.
