Overview

The Alpha Urbane Project is a youth leadership organisation which is a home to the leaders of tomorrow. We aim to provide a platform to champion enterprising young minds. Our primary objective is to equip the youth with the skills required in tackling adversity and enriching their personalities, whilst learning to embrace the vast array of opportunities available in the current environment. We have launched a variety of upskilling initiatives, including several Model United Nations conferences and training sessions, multiple effective social media campaigns and successful fundraiser sfor pressing issues in our community. Through TAUP, our members are also involved in a wide range of community and social responsibility engagements including beach clean-ups, mentoring underprivileged children and blood donation drives. As an organization, we are committed to being sustainable and socially responsible with a lasting, positive impact on the community. This is showcased by the scale and outcome of our engagements. At TAUPMUN 2019 and JNMUN 2019, over 1500 students developed a range of essential skills through a simulation of the United Nations’ operations. The opening ceremony of TAUPMUN was graced by the presence of Dr. Indu Shahani, Smt. Amruta Fadnavis ji, Mr. Irfan Pathan, Adv Ashish Shelar and Mr. Annurag Batra. Our social media campaign to spread positivity and encourage the youth to make spend their time effectively, #QuarantinedbutnotConfined, saw the participation of over 2000 individuals, including Ms. Ananya Pandey, Mr. Yusuf Pathan Ms. Raveena Tandon and Mr. Ishaan Khattar. Our fundraiser in partnership with the Akshaya Patra Foundation has raised enough funds to serve 125,000 meals to those in need during the COVID crisis. We hope to continue developing the leaders of tomorrow and unleash the true potential in our youth to create a brighter, more sustainable future.
