Overview

Established in 1851, The Wooster Brush Company is the largest privately owned paint applicator manufacturer in the U.S.A. Paintbrushes or rollers, surface prep tools, roller frames and extension poles—their problem-solving products help painters work faster, produce a more professional finish, and eliminate hassles. They are located in Wooster, Ohio—just blocks from where founder Adam Foss produced his first handmade brushes. Wooster has more than 888,000 square feet of manufacturing, shipping, administrative, and warehousing facilities. Foss sold his first brushes door-to-door; today Wooster manufactures more than 2,000 products that are used internationally in Canada, Mexico, Australia, Puerto Rico, Latin America, the UK, Ireland, Russia, Saudi Arabia, China, Thailand, and Japan. With an average of 16 years of service each, its 500+ employees are committed to quality and innovation. Some of the most popular brands of paint applicators and equipment on the market are made by Wooster, including: Ultra/Pro®, Yachtsman®, Shortcut® and Silver Tip® brushes; Super/Fab®, Pro/Doo-Z®, Super Doo-Z® and Polar Bear® paint rollers; Sherlock® roller frames and extension poles; the Jumbo-Koter® miniroller system; and Prep Crew® surface prep tools.
