The Honors College is the home to an engaged and diverse community of transdisciplinary scholars, and the Honors College faculty are dedicated to educating students, who as graduates, are defined by three key characteristics of a learned scholar: ๐๐ซ๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐๐๐ฅ ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ซ๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐ ๐๐ก๐ข๐ง๐ค๐๐ซ๐ฌ who synthesize information, ideas and values, and who develop creative solutions to complex issues; ๐๐ญ๐ก๐ข๐๐๐ฅ ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ฆ๐ฉ๐๐ญ๐ก๐๐ญ๐ข๐ ๐๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐ณ๐๐ง๐ฌ who evaluate solutions to complex social or professional issues integrating perspectives and beliefs of others that one does not necessarily share; and ๐๐จ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐๐๐จ๐ซ๐๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐ ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ง๐๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ข๐ฏ๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ซ๐ฌ who apply principles of teamwork, collaboration, inclusivity, and leadership to mentor and serve others in diverse environments.
