Overview

The Honors College is the home to an engaged and diverse community of transdisciplinary scholars, and the Honors College faculty are dedicated to educating students, who as graduates, are defined by three key characteristics of a learned scholar: ๐‚๐ซ๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐œ๐š๐ฅ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐‚๐ซ๐ž๐š๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐ž ๐“๐ก๐ข๐ง๐ค๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ who synthesize information, ideas and values, and who develop creative solutions to complex issues; ๐„๐ญ๐ก๐ข๐œ๐š๐ฅ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐„๐ฆ๐ฉ๐š๐ญ๐ก๐ž๐ญ๐ข๐œ ๐‚๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐ณ๐ž๐ง๐ฌ who evaluate solutions to complex social or professional issues integrating perspectives and beliefs of others that one does not necessarily share; and ๐‚๐จ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐š๐›๐จ๐ซ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐ž ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ˆ๐ง๐œ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ข๐ฏ๐ž ๐‹๐ž๐š๐๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ who apply principles of teamwork, collaboration, inclusivity, and leadership to mentor and serve others in diverse environments.
