Overview

The Scuba Gym Australia is passionate about bringing the joy and proven healing power of scuba diving to people with special needs or disabilities. The Scuba Gym provides Scuba Therapy(TM) to people with special needs, like Quadraplegics, Paraplegics, Multiple Sclerosis, Cerebral Palsy, Lyme’s Disease, Dandy Walker Syndrome, Hypotonia, Fibromyalgia, Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (EDS), Motor Neuron Disease, Autism, Down Syndrome, PTSD and amputees, and all others that have the desire to learn to scuba dive. We have seen autistic children concentrate, focus, gain confidence, do things their parents thought they would never do. Scuba Therapy allows for unique therapy in a weightless environment giving people the ability to increase strength and flexibility not possible during normal workouts. At the Scuba Gym, individualized workouts without gravity are designed to naturally strengthen and heal the body. The benefits are individual to each participant and are life-changing.
