Overview
One of the top prep schools in the country for boys aged 4-13, we are a friendly, welcoming school in a beautiful historic location, in the Cathedral Close in Winchester. Enjoying a long standing reputation as a school achieving consistently high academic results, yet with a strong focus on nurturing personality and character, our boys move on to the top senior schools in the country. Each year half of our leaving boys will move on to Winchester College or Eton. A double choir school, we are home to the Choristers of Winchester Cathedral and the Quiristers (also trebles) of Winchester College Chapel Choir. Our music is very strong, with nearly every boy playing at least one instrument. Sport is played competitively twice a week with many additional sporting opportunities for team and individual sports. After school clubs, known as Commoners, are diverse and held most days after lessons. Entry to the school is by academic assessment during a taster day, to give each boy an idea of what it would be like to be a Pilgrim. Visitors are always welcome.
