The Mermaid Inn & Mermaid Oyster Bar concepts; owned by Danny Abrams and Cindy Smith, fixtures in the NYC restaurant scene for many years are now driven by an authentic coastal dining experience available throughout Manhattan, in both The Mermaid Inn and The Mermaid Oyster Bar. Having a storied history of acclaimed NYC restaurants such as The Red Cat and The Harrison in the past, they now operate through a restaurant group called The Mermaid Inn Holding company. It's foundation is rooted in it's reputation for well operated restaurants that serve high quality food and beverage with integrity & are always paired with warm, genuine, and efficient service. The Mermaid Inn Holding Company post pandemic is poised for growth with four strong openings in the works. The company will be opening The Mermaid Oyster Bar on 89 Macdougal in Greenwich Village next, and is settled on three concrete projects signed on following that.
