Overview

The Little Voice Project is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization formed in response to the growing number of children who are being held hostage in a failing system by seeking to establish a protected space for abused children in our legal system. According to extensive research by the Leadership Council On Child Abuse & Interpersonal Violence, EVERY YEAR over 58,000 children are placed in the hands of court-recognized abusers during child custody disagreements, otherwise known as Court-Ordered Child Abuse. We believe there is a great need to shine a light on this tragic situation and call for an immediate reform of the Family Court System. Our organization believes that children who are raised in warm, supportive, and nurturing environments are more likely to develop into responsible adults. Thus, LVP aligns with the Family Court’s mission to preserve the family unit so long as its preservation does not create a risk of child abuse (in all its forms) and/or neglect of any child. In court cases that involve documented abuse, however, The Little Voice Project aligns with the Protective Parent, aggressively advocates on behalf of the child who has become lost in the system, and strives to return the child to a safe environment where they can thrive. Our team uses cutting edge technology, creativity, and social media to advocate on behalf of those who cannot fight for their own rights, thereby giving abused children a voice. Our organization raises public and professional awareness with the intention of amassing a digital community of supporters focused on eradicating Court-Ordered Child Abuse in America. While we applaud all efforts to prevent the occurrence of child abuse, our organization focuses solely on protecting children who have been court-ordered into the hands of documented abusers.
