Overview

Based in Guiseley, Leeds and online. At my fun and friendly parent groups, I will help you understand more about the way reading is taught through phonics and comprehension skills, how writing is taught (including what it typically looks like for a particular age group) and the associated grammar. I will also show you how to help with maths. All sessions include a take-home resource to try and lots of opportunities to ask questions - all in a safe, encouraging atmosphere. In my oracy training, I will motivate your staff and deliver easy, actionable oracy pedagogy basics. I will show you next steps and signpost you to well known theory and resources. I will help you audit your current offer and make plans with you to move your school forward. You will quickly see results and the benefits to both your children and staff as they develop expertise and renewed focus in learning to communicate and communicating to learn.
