The ITEM, Inc. (“The ITEM”) is a Pennsylvania nonprofit corporation formed in May 2015. The ITEM stands for The Inclusive Technology + Entrepreneurship Movement. THE ITEM encompasses three pillars and a platform. The ITEM Academy - Develop and Advance talent by training the un/underemployed to acquire in-demand skills and obtain industry recognized certifications. The ITEM Resources - Opportunity to students through our network of placement agencies, nonprofit and business partners. The ITEM Ventures - Engages members interested in Entrepreneurship by providing access to mentors, business advice & capital. The ITEM Platform - Monthly networking event where we foster organic mentoring for all members.
