Overview

The Inquisitor Newspaper is published by Settle Talks, LLC in Shreveport, Louisiana and has been published since 1997. The newspaper was started by its founder Danny Lawler, before being sold to John Settle, local columnist and real estate title and abstract tycoon, through his company Settle Talk, LLC. Lawler worked as a police officer in Caddo Parish, Louisiana and thought there was a void in reporting the work of police officers and local law enforcement. He filled that need by creating The Inquisitor Newspaper, which is now the largest paid weekly newspaper in the state of Louisiana. The new website, www.theinquisitor.com currently provides up to the minute local news as it occurs by utilizing reporters who report the news directly and instantly from the field.
