Make no mistake about it, Christ was never lost so technically we have never “found” Him. The truth is He found us because we were lost and like sheep had gone our own way. And even today He keeps finding us in places that He never meant for us to be, but still using our waywardness to further the gospel. God is amazing like that! The Foundation of Jesus Christ is the ministry of reconciliation God speaks about in 2 Corinthians 5:18. He has charged each of us to share our experiences of joy and pain, comfort and anguish, victory and defeat, that God has brought us to and brought us through for our good and His glory. The logo was inspired by Luke 23:39-43 where Jesus was crucified between two criminals. It is a reminder that we can choose to be on the right side of Christ or the wrong side, that our choices either come with blessings or consequences, and that it does not matter where we are when He finds us. That is why it is important to stay encouraged in Christ.
