Overview

Frank Fillmore founded The Fillmore Group in 1987 to provide expert technical services to customers using IBM’s relational database software product, DB2. Since then TFG has delivered superior consulting services, IBM technical education, and a consultative approach as an Informationsoftware products reseller. The Fillmore Group’s consulting team consistently delivers value to IBM Information Management customers by architecting solutions, assisting with migrations and implementations, performing healthchecks to ensure peak performance, and troubleshooting to detect and correct system errors. In 1998 Frank Fillmore’s contributions to the DB2 technical community earned him the designation of “DB2 Gold Consultant”. The Gold Consultant program, run by IBM, recognizes the value of the skills acquired and shared by DB2 consultants around the world. The Fillmore Group delivers IBM Information Management authorized education courses, and TFG consultants are frequent authors and presenters at DB2 Users Group meetings including the International DB2 Users Group, IDUG. The Fillmore Group’s client list includes over 100 corporations, government entities and non-profit organizations. TFG has provided consulting services, onsite, at client locations in over 20 countries outside of the United States. In 2000 Steve Mills offered DB2 Gold Consultants a Technical Services Agreement (TSA) to enable Lab Services to engage their skills without an intermediate Core Supplier. The Fillmore Group has used the TSA to deliver services to customers through Lab Services, IGS and IBM Technical Education Services (ITES) in Canada. TFG is closely aligned with IBM through its Business Partner program and participates in software reseller programs including the Value Added Partner (VAP) program, Optim and InfoSphere ValueNet Programs and Software Value Plus (SVP).
