Denver Adolescent Therapy Group specializes in helping tweens, teens and their families facing challenges related to normal child development and change. Adolescence is a time of natural transition that may manifest in changes in behavior, mood, social stress, parent conflict, and decision making. A very exciting time of growth, this period can also bring about stress and confusion in the family system. At DATG we believe that in supporting this developmental change, parents and other family members will become more clear about what is normal during these changes, and what may be problematic or unhealthy. Specializing in child and adolescent development, we have the capacity to quickly assess symptoms experienced by the individual teen as well as the family system, and in turn create a plan for success. DATG provides individual therapy as well as parent support, coaching, and education on child and adolescent development. By expanding awareness about this stage of development, parents become more equipped to navigate through the rough waters of adolescence.
