The Crossroads Group, a privately held investment management firm, focused solely on private market investing. The firm’s heritage dates to 1981 as a pioneer in diversified, private equity partnership invest and direct/co-investing in the U.S. and, beginning in 1988, in Europe. The Crossroads group focused exclusively – and profitably – on investing with the world’s leading private equity firms, venture capitalists, incubators and strategic buyout firms. Crossroads established itself as one of the nation’s premier strategic private equity investment and venture capital organizations, pioneering the creation of a diversified VC access network. The network was developed to pursue opportunities primarily in venture capital and other strategic private equity sections, including middle market U.S. buyouts and mezzanine, international private equity partnerships, secondary interests in existing private equity partnerships, and U.S. direct/co-investment opportunities in privately held operating companies. As a general partner investor and investment adviser The Crossroads Group managed The Crossroads Funds – a family of diversified private equity funds and venture capital funds, which held positions in over 4,700 companies, through a network of more than 200 strategic private equity partners and venture capitalists. The Crossroads Group is now part of Neuberger Berman.
