Nestled in the heart of Somerset on top of the Quantock Hills, we are a family run business offering ‘home from home’ bespoke boarding for all types of dogs, living as one of the family with our two dogs, Primrose and Poppy. We know too well the heartache of leaving our dogs when we go away……where will they go? We know how much we would want them to be looked after, walked, cuddled and loved and hopefully we can now offer our guests exactly this! Our guests have access to all the comfiest places – sofas, chairs and laps are all at their disposal! The Country Dog Hotel offers the best holiday experience for your dog with our guests enjoying days filled with walks in the countryside, playing in the field, evenings in front of the log burner or AGA and nights spent sleeping soundly. We are ideally situated just a few miles from Taunton and Bridgwater. The Quantock Hills are an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB)*. Walks are in our six-acre field, our dog proof secured garden and 880 acres of hills on our doorstep. Each day we can go on a different walk without having to use transport. Our goal is to ensure that owners can go away safe in the knowledge that their dogs are being loved and cared for. All our guests staying at The Country Dog Hotel get a holiday of their own, stress free, full of fun, exercise and of course love!
