Overview

The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, founded in 1839, is one of the oldest and most prestigious business organizations in Sri Lanka. It is an independent, non-profit organization that represents the interests of the Sri Lankan business community both locally and internationally. The Chamber's mission is to promote and protect the interests of the business community in Sri Lanka, while contributing to the country's economic development. With a membership base of over 600 leading companies, including small and medium-sized enterprises, multinational corporations, and industry associations, the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce provides a platform for businesses to network, share knowledge and expertise, and engage in advocacy activities. The Chamber also offers a range of services and support to its members, including business promotion and market research, policy advocacy, arbitration and mediation services, and capacity building and training programs. The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce is committed to promoting sustainable and inclusive economic growth, and actively engages in initiatives that contribute to the development of Sri Lanka's economy and society.
