Overview
The Campanile is a non-profit, student-run newspaper produced by and for the students of Palo Alto High School (Paly) in Palo Alto, Calif. The Campanile is written and designed by students of Paly’s Advanced Journalism class and is an outlet for students to inform and express to residents of Palo Alto and surrounding Bay Area communities. Located in a suburb south of San Francisco, Calif., Palo Alto is notably known for its location in Silicon Valley and its close ties with neighboring Stanford University. Palo Alto High School is one of two high schools in the Palo Alto Unified School District (PAUSD). The Campanile publishes eight to ten print issues throughout the academic school year and is composed of three sections: News & Opinion, Lifestyle and Sports. Digital editions of recent publications can be found at https://issuu.com/palycampanile As the digital component of a hybrid publication, we seek to provide the Palo Alto community with accurate, responsible, thought-provoking and timely journalism. All print articles are archived online in addition to content published exclusively online.
