Overview

The Boston Winter Ball is an annual black tie charity event that caters to social and civically minded young professionals in the Boston area. In its young history, the Boston Winter Ball has already established itself as not only one of the most anticipated events on Boston’s social calendar, but also a destination event – with attendees joining from all over the country. The vision has always been to bring together like-minded Millennials to network and support their communities by promoting philanthropy and volunteerism. Proceeds from the Boston Winter Ball benefit the Corey C. Griffin Charitable Foundation. The Griffin family launched the Foundation after Corey lost his life as a vehicle to continue Corey’s great philanthropic works and loving spirit, with the mission to improve the quality of life for children in need through healthcare and education programs. The Foundation’s core partnerships include the Corey House at Boston Children’s Hospital, the Corey C. Griffin Memorial Scholarship Fund at Saint John Paul II Catholic Academy, the Corey C. Griffin Brain Injury Research Fund at Boston Children’s Hospital, and the Early Angel Fund, which provides grants to young entrepreneurs in philanthropic endeavors.
