TEDxNationalTaiwanUniversity Introduction | TED, the abbreviation of Technology, Entertainment, Design, is an international NGO that believes in the spirit of “Ideas worth spreading. SInce established in 1984, TED has been supporting the mission of spreading new insights that can change the world’s mindset. In 2009, TED started to open licensing, allowing people from all walks of life to run TEDx as a platform of possibilities, broadcasting local community’s beliefs and spirits under the order of TED talk. In August, 2016, after acquiring the official license, TEDxNationalTaiwanUniversity was born. Our organization is composed of students from different backgrounds with diverse perspectives, hoping ideas to collide and evolve into innovative creativity. Even with various mindsets, our members are all dedicated to the same thing--voicing for the voiceless. TEDxNationalTaiwanUniversity Belief | We believe the power of dialogue amplifies the freedom of possibilities. TEDxNationalTaiwanUniversity, an officially verified organization, mainly comprises students from NTU. We hope to engage all participants to practice social responsibilities through the course of speeches and dialogues.
