Overview

TEDxACCD brings together a group of visionaries, game-changers, innovators, creatives, learners, and mentors, to inspire, encourage and catalyze new opportunities and ideas through the exchange of diverse point of views. We are a student-led TEDx event held bi-annually at ArtCenter College of Design. (x = independently organized TED event) In the spirit of TED, our goal is to create an inclusive community engagement around ArtCenter by providing a platform for ideas worth spreading. Leveraging the passion, drive, and the diverse sets of skills of ArtCenter students, we aim to produce a unique, intimate, inspiring, and thought provoking experience. This year, we have embarked on our journey to produce our third event. TEDxACCD 2017 will be held on our campus in Pasadena, California on Saturday, November 4, 2017. TEDxACCD 2017: Beauty of the Fall Failure is an inherent and fundamental experience of life. As human beings, we walk blindly into the world, striving to satisfy our needs, passions, and dreams although our fulfillment is not guaranteed. However, failure can be a purifying process that strips away the inessential, revealing our inner selves and utmost potential. Do you dare to fail?
