Similarly it enables healthcare professionals to make more informed diagnosis based on availability of patient healthcare information, prescribe medication and diagnostic tests accurately and receive their results in a timely manner. In addition, it provides national healthcare decision makers with patient clinical data that can be used for healthcare planning.
