TDC Parsons Peebles design, manufacture, test, install and commission high voltage motors, generators and rotary frequency converters in the range 3.3kV to 13.8kV and up to 50MW for locations worldwide. We are a wholly owned Scottish company with a main manufacturing base in Rosyth and complimentary TDC Group operations in Aberdeen. To complement our HV manufacturing capability, we also conduct on HV/MV/LV machines of any manufacture, workshop service, site service, refurbishment repairs, rewinds, hazardous area re-certification and supply of spares. The company has a long history starting in Edinburgh as Bruce Peebles in 1898. The company name has varied over the years, with the Parsons part of the name being added with the formation of Reyrolle Parsons Group in 1969, and continuing through to the present day, now as TDC Parsons Peebles, part of the TDC Group. Our internationally QA certified company supplies machines and services to Power, off-shore and on-shore Oil and Gas, Paper, Cement and Mining and numerous other industries worldwide. The comprehensive Rosyth test facility with our own Peebles manufactured 40MVA Kramer test set and numerous other M-G sets enables us to conduct direct load testing of induction motors up to 8MW at both 50Hz and 60Hz frequencies. Other testing arrangements enable us to conduct Full Factory Acceptance Testing of all other motors and generators at their full rating employing various internationally recognised testing regimes.
