The Tasmanian School of Business and Economics (TSBE) commenced teaching programs in 1914 within the University of Tasmania which is the 4th oldest university in Australia which is currently ranked in the top 2% of the worldwide. The Tasmanian School of Business and Economics is a single college with four separate academic discipline areas which include Accounting & Corporate Governance, Economics & Finance, Management, and Marketing, and one teaching institute the Australian Institute of Health Management (AIHSM). Our vision is: To advance the well-being, economic and social development of the people of Tasmania and our communities. Our mission is: To advance research and learning in business and economics to the benefit of all our constituents leveraging the strengths of the University and the State of Tasmania. We offer undergraduate degrees in Business and Economics, 9 combined undergraduate degrees in the areas of Business/Economics combined with ICT/Science/Art and Law. We also offer postgraduate degrees, which include an MBA, Master of Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Master of Marketing Management, Master of Professional Accounting and a Master of Finance. The college offers the opportunity for students to be taught by world class academics in modern facilities with up to date equipment which allow our students to connect with us from all across the world. The school is primarily located at the Centenary Building at the Sandy Bay Campus, in Hobart Tasmania, and we also offer teaching from our Launceston, and Burnie campus’s along with teaching programs in Hong Kong and Shanghai.
