Tarwicorp is an biotechnology-based company that has the vision to promote the Andean food and medicinal plants with high market value. On the one side to promote and to produce funcional foods based on ancient and tradicional plants and with his by-productos (secondary metabolites) produce biopesticides and biostimulants for the organic agriculture in a circular model economy. Currently we have initiated our operations with the Tarwi (Lupinus Mutabilis), which is one of promising Andean grains, since it contains the most of proteins between known grains (50g by each 100g of grain) as well as containing other high-value secondary metabolites (kinolizidinic alkaloids).
