Overview

Tapster allows customers the ability to try small tastings of over 60 different beers, wines, cocktails, kombuchas, sodas, and coffees - all on draught. Tapster is an old english term defined as "a person who draws and serves alcoholic drinks at a bar". This term was first coined around 1617, making it 400 years old. Our first location is in Wicker Park, a Chicago neighborhood just north west of downtown. We used the term Tapster because in our establishment, customers become their own bartenders (or Tapsters). Our self-serve tasting format is fueled by our technology partners at PourMyBeer. Our menu compliments this tasting-style, with fondue being a main staple. Come see us and enjoy a relaxed tasting experience!
