NAME- Mrs. Swarna Raja Founder - Tanjore Art Studio / Sattva Art. Art started as a hobby in childhood. My interest grew as many of my family and friends started appreciating traditional Art forms and folk Arts. Traditional Art forms are fading. My attempt is to revive it in its original forms which is elaborate and time consuming but yet not commercialized. I have started Tanjore Art Studio which is totally dedicated to this Royal art forms for teaching in natural colours and natural ingredients to all the art enthusiast and art collectors. Tanjore Art studio started 15 years ago and is reviving art forms which are dying. Its aim is to spread by teaching the art form in its Original traditional method. I started my search about 12 years ago for Traditional and folk Arts. Art requires natural colours and lots of natural ingredients to make the painting. Finding natural colours was the biggest challenge in this commercial art market. Today hardly less than 1% use natural colour in Art. Till today studio has taught more than 500+ students through classroom teaching. In order to reach larger interested / Passionate Art Learner. Tanjore art studio has started Online virtual classes about 6 years ago. Studio through Online Class teaches art learners all over the world both Tanjore Art and Kerala Mural – more than 200+ students have learnt till now. Today all my paintings are made from Fresco secco technique (Temple Art), 100% hand painted, 100% natural colour and ingredients. Iam specialised in Tanjore Art, Kerala Mural, Ganjifa Art, Warli painting, Madhubani Art, Lipan Art. Awards: BENGALURU YOUHT AWARD – 2014 for my contribution in Art and culture by Govt Of Karnataka.
