Overview

The Company Tamara International Pty Ltd is an Australian registered company that was formed to create more efficient and effective trade flows between Australia and Oman, facilitating volume growth initially in commodities such as meat and grains. The company combines experienced supply chain managers in Australia with business leaders and government support in Oman. The company has two business units, meat and grains. Meat Tamara works with a number of suppliers of beef, sheep and camel within the Australian market place. These suppliers cover off all grades of beef and lamb from the highest quality Wagyu primal cuts to “A” beef along with lamb or mutton. The camel business is fledgling but is growing. Tamara embraces the “paddock to plate” model and as such is working with suppliers to enable traceability through the supply chain. Tamara has the capacity to procure meat from origins other than Australia if the need arises. Grains As is the case with the meat business unit, the company works with a number of suppliers within the grains space in Australia. The company purchases domestically and sells onto a number of customers within the export market. The company is growing this business unit to the point where bulk vessels of wheat and barley will be shipped into the major grain customers in Oman. Tamara has the ability to procure grain from origins other than Australia if the need arises.
