Overview

A new, 100% Swiss brand of cosmetics wants to contribute to skin health and pays a share of its profits back into a foundation for the world’s children. The company Swissclinical grew out of the shared commitment of its founders to establish a foundation that provides the world’s disadvantaged children with the high-quality medical care they cannot normally access. In many underprivileged sections of society, children are born every day with all types of malformations, and grow up with a serious disability which may include loss of vision or of the ability to walk. In some cases, surgical intervention can reverse the malformation. The Swissclinical foundation has made it its goal to provide these children with high-quality care, to give them a real chance in life. In order to fund this foundation in the long term, the founders of Swissclinical are using the best that the Swiss Riviera can offer, which is its pure and unspoilt nature and its technological expertise. Backed by this knowledge, they have chosen to develop a range of leading-edge cosmeceutical products. Swissclinical was established in Vevey in 2006, and has made it its goal to promote skin health by providing the highest-quality care while avoiding harmful substances that have caused concern and are too often used. It therefore chooses to combine natural ingredients (plants and Swiss glacial water) with the most advanced Swiss biotechnology, and avoids parabens, mineral oils, colouring and allergenic perfumes among other things. With a high concentration of the best active ingredients, the effectiveness of these formulas has been scientifically proven. Developed on the Vaud Riviera by the best dermatologists and cosmetologists, they belong to the new generation of products called ‘cosmeceutical’. The Swissclinical formulas are suitable for all skin types, particularly for sensitive skin.
