The OSPCC (Office of the Sussex Police and Crime Commissioner) is a small dedicated team of experienced officers whose role it is to support the Police and Crime Commissioner, Katy Bourne, in delivering her policies and to set the direction and budget for Sussex Police. The office supports PCC Katy Bourne in: - Seeking the public’s views on policing and community safety decisions - Developing and publishing the Police and Crime Plan for Sussex - Keeping the public up-to-date and informed about decisions and the PCC's work - Monitoring and scrutinising the performance of the Chief Constable and Sussex Police - Publishing transparent information about decisions, budgets, performance and governance - Working with partners to co-ordinate community safety and crime prevention activities - Commissioning support services for victims of crime
