Overview

The Summit Institute is a non-profit organization rescuing and caring for Israeli children who have been removed from their homes as a result of abuse and severe neglect, providing them with a warm home, a loving family, and critical therapeutic and scholastic support. In addition, for the past four decades the organization has operated unique psychosocial rehabilitation programs for adolescents and young adults coping with mental illness. Since 2006, the Summit Institute has operated a support center for parents of adolescents in crisis. Under the supervision of the Welfare Ministry and the Health Ministry, and with the aid of other partners, the Summit Institute enables children, adolescents and young adults to emerge from the cycle of trauma towards a healthier and more stable future.
