Overview

Street Cause is a National student-run NGO (Also the largest student-run NGO in Hyderabad). Within a year from its inception in 2009, we have done 15,000+ projects, spending around 3+ crores, impacting 3lakh+ people and 273+ animals, establishing its divisions in more than 55+ colleges all over Hyderabad with 8,000+ workforce and 10,000+ alumni and seven units working for different causes. Street Cause's utmost priority is financial transparency. At Street Cause, we do permanent projects that permanently impact villages, old-age homes, orphanages, government schools, and various other sectors of society. We have expanded into five more cities, Kochi, Chennai, Bengaluru, Visakhapatnam, and Pune, making us a national NGO. At Street Cause, we have a Permanent Chair, Board of Governors, and now that we are a national NGO, we have an addition to the structure, the CEO's office. This Chief Executive Board of all the cities consists of people holding different portfolios and the mentorship of divisions. Every Street Cause division again consists of an Executive Board. It has a team of around 20 coordinators or more, sorted into the five departments we work on – Women empowerment, Social Impact, Environment, Education, Old age homes and orphanages. Our units, SC GOLD, SC PAW, SC EForce, SC Innovation and Research and SC Pride, cater to specific causes. We have POSH Committee to ensure the members' safety, a National Design Studio, Originate, Leadership. Nxt to train the Organisation's future leaders, Career Development cell and SC Caterpillar to digitalise operations. The members together work in accordance to do projects which benefit the needy and destitute people of the society. Street Cause members tend to develop leadership, teamwork, interpersonal communications, manage critical situations and build great networks.
