Stree-Shakti project aims to encourage and prepare young women in Nepal to pursue a career and take on leadership roles in the energy sector by increasing their access to information and opportunities. The program includes an in-person learning workshop and several virtual webinars offering opportunities to enhance leadership skills, increase financial literacy, and expand knowledge on the Nepalese energy sector and career prospects in the sector. The program also includes career guidance with opportunities to learn from women leaders in the Nepalese energy sector, interact with experts and leaders in the industry, and engage in professional networking. Stree-Shakti is supported by US Embassy Kathmandu through the Alumni Engagement Innovation Fund (AEIF 2022) and implemented by Fulbright Alumni Association of Nepal. The project will take place in Kathmandu, Pokhara, Nepalgunj, and Surkhet.
