Success for the youth of today requires knowledge, skills and good self-esteem. At Straight A Tutors we offer undivided and personal attention. Most classroom teachers do not have the time or resources to teach children individually. In many instances children lose confidence and hope. At Straight A Tutors one of our main areas of focus is to develop understanding. Tutors take great care in explaining, breaking down and rebuilding areas of confusion. Tutors fill in the gaps of understanding, before the learner is expected to move on to the next topic. This development of understanding is not a quick fix and does not happen overnight. The childrens' critical thinking skills are also developed to aid in future understanding of work. Tutors don't teach in a lecture style but rather ask questions that guide the children to reach an understanding. This boosts the childrens' confidence and will help them understand the subject more holistically. Straight A Tutors provides individual or paired tuition for a range of subjects, grades and age groups. We encourage the students to take responsibility for their progress and growth as individuals.
