Storytime is an independent prodco based in Russia focusing on development, production, and brand management of thoughtful, inspiring children's and family content. Storytime’s slate includes properties developed internally, as well as participation through co-development and co-production 3rd party project, with an emphasis on values and international potential. Storytime invests in building international creative teams and strategic partnerships around each property to support each stage of the content value chain; development, production, distribution, licensing, and brand management across all platforms. Storytime was founded in 2018 by its CEO Julia Mindubaeva, Chief Creative Officer Vasiliy Kutsenko, and prodco Yellow, Black & White studio - one of the leading independent Russian entertainment companies producing and distributing original features and series (including the first Netflix Original series from Russia, and a feature co-production with Disney Russia). Julia Mindubaeva’s rich experience in the media and entertainment industry includes animation production, distribution and licensing. As a producer, credits include internationally rating success preschool animated series “Kid-e-Cats”. Currently Julia is also CEO of START – a general audiences SVOD with a focus on top Russian content, including a slate of START originals. Chief Creative Officer Vasiliy Kutsenko is a script writer, creative producer and showrunner with more than 10 years experience in live-action family entertainment content - TV series and movies, including co-pro feature and box office hit with Disney.
