Geschichte verbindet uns. - Als eines der größten kulturgeschichtlichen Museen Deutschlands vermitteln wir Berliner Kultur und Geschichte von der Ur- und Frühgeschichte bis in die Gegenwart. Die Stiftung Stadtmuseum Berlin – Landesmuseum für Kultur und Geschichte Berlins – wurde am 23. Juni 1995 gegründet und ist eine Stiftung öffentlichen Rechts mit Sitz in Berlin. Unsere einzigartige Sammlung an sechs Berliner Standorten und einem Zentraldepot umfasst mehrere Millionen Objekte. Wir betreiben fünf Museen: Das Märkische Museum, die Nikolaikirche, das Ephraim-Palais, das Knoblauchhaus und das Museumsdorf Düppel, sowie seit Eröffnung des Humboldt Forums im Berliner Schloss auch die Ausstellung BERLIN GLOBAL. History connects us. - As one of the largest museums of cultural history in Germany, we convey Berlin's culture and history from prehistory and early history to the present day. The Stiftung Stadtmuseum Berlin - Landesmuseum für Kultur und Geschichte Berlin - was founded on June 23, 1995 and is a foundation under public law based in Berlin. Our unique collection at six Berlin locations and a central depot comprises several million objects. We operate five museums: the Märkisches Museum, the Nikolaikirche, the Ephraim-Palais, the Knoblauchhaus and the Museum Village Düppel, and since the opening of the Humboldt Forum in the Berlin Palace, also the exhibition BERLIN GLOBAL.
