Our mission at STEM Powered Kits is help kids feel more confident and capable with science and technology as they develop their STEM Identity and Technology Fluency. Science is everywhere in the world around us. Technology is continuously expanding into every aspect of our lives. Engineering is the basic designs of roads and bridges, but also tackles the challenges of changing global weather and environmentally-friendly changes to our home. Mathematics is in every occupation, every activity we do in our lives. By developing a child's' love for science and technology today, we are helping to ensure they are able to thrive tomorrow. STEM Powered Kits will help them communicate, collaborate, think critically, and become creative inventors. These are the vital skills you can teach to all kids, skills that will serve them well no matter what path they take in life. We believe that creative confidence helps kids think BIG. Instead of just being consumers, kids gets the opportunity to be creators and producers with each STEM Kit they complete. We have a deep appreciation for the creative, hands-on projects that encourage this kind of thinking. At STEM Powered Kits, we know It can be tough to find the time to do the research and come up with a great idea, let alone gather all the materials. Our mission is to make your research easier as we celebrate kids' natural creativity and curiosity, while helping parents who want to bring enriching experiences to their children. By exposing kids to STEM and giving them opportunities to explore STEM-related concepts, they will develop a passion for it and hopefully pursue a job in a STEM field. Ultimately, we hope that the problem solving skills and creative confidence that kids gain today will help them tackle the challenges and opportunities that tomorrow has in store.
