Work in global tech and climate. 🌍 From conservation and IoT to solar energy engineering.☀️ Start Me Up is a program that links NGOs and social enterprises tackling urgent challenges in emerging economies with talented individuals who want to drive positive change. 🌱 We attract some of the best and brightest undergraduates and recent graduates. To date, we’ve attracted students from Ivy League and Russell Group Universities including Cornell, Princeton, Oxford, Cambridge, and UCL. To date, participants have: Developed water conservation monitoring. Produced low-cost bio-derived plastic alternatives. Run biodegradability testing. Assessed emerging tech solutions for coral reef monitoring. Identified testing methods for agricultural approaches that generate less methane. Designed models for community power generation.
