SULAC is a free legal advice clinic offering free advice and assistance to certain members of the public. The advice is provided by the law students supervised by qualified solicitors and academics. Clients are interviewed by two students and their supervisor. The students will then research the area of a law and a letter of advice will be sent to the client within 14 days. No advice is given at the first interview. If SULAC cannot assist we are implementing a robust referral arrangement so will hopefully be able to refer to another provider so that the client's journey is completed.
